Dewar Flasks
Dewar flasks, also known as vacuum flasks or thermal flasks, are used in research laboratories and industrial laboratories for a variety of purposes, including the storage of liquids, such as oxygen and nitrogen, which become gaseous at temperatures well below the ambient temperature. Dewar flasks are also commonly used for transporting dry ice, a commodity with many uses in almost every laboratory and which must be maintained at very low temperatures.
Scilogex Dewar flasks are some of the best models available on the market. All our thermal flasks are designed to be tough and robust, and all are rust-free, non-corrosive, hygienic and strong. All Scilogex Dewar models incorporate double-walled boroscilicate glass, which is vacuum-pumped for the efficient storage, transport and use of liquid nitrogen and dry-ice. We offer a number of types of vacuum flask, from an economy range to a standard stainless steel range and an innovative range of wide-necked, shallow glass Dewars. Our wide-necked Dewar flasks are particularly popular in many laboratory applications as the shallow form allows for the minimum amount of coolant to be used. These vacuum flasks can be used with magnetic stirrers and standard boiling flasks up to 2 liters in capacity. SCILOGEX DILVAC Stainless Steel Cased Dewar Flasks
